Sergio Tinoco has been volunteering with Comite Mexicano Civico Patriotico since 1993, and has been the President  for two periods of two years each. In addition to volunteering his time and dedication, Tinoco plans for the growth of the Parade through his strong relationships within neighborhood’s community board, local police, residents, sponsors, schools, and community organizations. For the East LA Parade, Tinoco mission is to continue to highlight Mexico’s historic traditions and origin. A parade theme is choose yearly to reflect the past, present and future within the Hispanic Community. “The Mexican Federations are a Huge impact in our Parade” “Every year we look forward to a Parade full of color, tradition and anxious spectators” said, Tinoco. Join us at the Mexican Independence Day  Parade of East LA every year,  and Celebrate with us this year’s theme, “El Año de México en Los Angeles”
